She Chose the Dragon

For ten years, Princess Isolde of Viridia loved Temple Knight Captain Leon wholeheartedly—until she discovered his secret affair with her younger sister Eileen. Heartbroken and disillusioned, she took Eileen’s place as the realm’s sacrifice to the ferocious dragon plaguing the kingdom.
In the dragon’s desolate territory, Isolde uncovered the truth: the thousand-year-old dragon Kalen, branded as a cruel tyrant, is merely a gentle, lonely being trapped in eternal solitude. The two wounded souls comfort and heal each other, falling into a forbidden love that transcends mortal and mythical boundaries.
Leon soon regrets his betrayal and rushes to plead for Isolde’s mercy, only to be firmly rejected. Eileen’s malicious schemes are eventually exposed, and she receives due punishment for her treachery.
Letting go of her painful past, Isolde chooses to stay by Kalen’s side. The two lovers rebuild the barren dragon realm, breathing new vitality into the long-desolate land.
